**About The Role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join our growing team. Working on a large scale of Land and Housing properties. We have several teams, that service properties throughout Greater Sydney, and due to expansion, we are growing these teams. Do you love working outside, and have experience in gardening maintenance? **Key responsibilities**:
Mowing multiple lawns per day as well as managing your team

Leading hand duties including the management of a small gardening team and the coordination and delegation of tasks to team members
- Handling of any health and safety matters as and when they arise and participating in toolbox talks
- Safe loading and unloading of Company truck
- Re-fuelling of Company truck as and when required
- Reporting of any issues on client sites to the main office
- Safely use and take care of powered equipment such as push on mower, zero turn ride on mowers, blower, whipper snipper, edging machines and rotary hoes.
- Undertake routine duties such as:
○ Mowing of lawns

○ Removal of rubbish and/or green waste

○ Blowing of leaves

○ Edging of grass

○ Cutting of hedges

○ Cutting, pruning and shaping of plants and small trees

○ Weed poisoning ○ Use of manual secateurs
- Follow and understand Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) on sites

**To be successful in the role you will need**:
At least three year’s experience as a garden crew member/in grounds maintenance
- At least three year’s experience using powered equipment and hand tools
- Experience in horticulture
- Driving License
- Safety conscious attitude
- Be a team player and willing to work hard.
- Hold a current police check or willing to obtain.
- Must be vaccinated with minimum 2 shots of COVID vaccine.

Have excellent communication skills.

Background in property maintenance or garden maintenance, mowing, edging, snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning and other gardening related to task associated with gardening maintenance.

Must be confident in towing a trailer

**You must have**:
WHS White Card

Driver License

National Police Check or be willing to obtain.

Asbestos awareness or be willing to obtain.

MR or HR licence or willing to obtain

Pay above the landscaping and gardening award 2020

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
