About the Role

As a Print Estimator at GT Print, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality print solutions. Your expertise in estimating, procurement, and planning will contribute to the company's efficiency and profitability. This fast-paced role requires precision, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of print production.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Estimate print jobs accurately and timely whilst adhering to quality and profitability guidelines
  • Ensure the most suitable materials/ machinery/ labour/time are quoted to obtain the best production outcomes
  • Efficiently control procurement of paper supplies
  • Accurately record all quotes and provide reports and procurement activity
  • Assist sales and production staff with accurate information, timely communication and ongoing support
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • This is a high pressure and rewarding role that is not for the faint hearted

About You

  • You are a professional, that is numerically gifted, articulate, confident, adaptable and a quick learner with a "can do" attitude.
  • You are an efficient highly motivated worker with a positive attitude who thrives on the pace of a high output environment
  • You have a proven track record in estimating / quoting / printing processes and machinery specifications
  • You are service centric, highly analytical, computer savvy (ideally with excellent knowledge of Quote and Print (or similar) and you live and breathe print manufacturing
  • You have thorough knowledge of materials and outwork requirements in print processes
  • You have excellent communication skills along with the ability to work fast and efficiently
