**A day in the life **

Located in Wetherill Park, the primary purpose of the Storeperson role is to support a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping, receiving goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving of inwards goods _
- Check delivered goods and their condition (take appropriate action if goods are damaged or faulty)
- Process appropriate paperwork
- Stock put into suitable location
- Dispatching of goods _
- Obtain and read picking slip and stock transfers
- Pick, check and sign off on goods
- Print labels, delivery dockets and consignment notes (where appropriate)
- Place labels and delivery dockets on appropriate goods and place goods in designated areas for despatch
- Other _
- Assist in inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, and periodic stocktakes
- Liaise with transport and container companies including: organising delivery pick up times and dates
- Administrative duties as related to warehouse functions
- Assist forklift maintenance

**Essential**:

- **One to two years of relevant warehouse experience**:

- **Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals**:

- **Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages**:

- **Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)**:

- **Current Fork Lift Drivers’ License essential**
