You'll be the engine behind one of the country's largest SEM operations — managing large budgets, testing cutting-edge automation, and driving tangible business results.

What You'll Do

You'll own the
end-to-end search strategy
for a flagship retail client — managing one of Australia's largest Google Ads ecosystems.

  • Plan, build, and optimise
    large-scale SEM campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and SA360.
  • Oversee product feed management
    through Google Merchant Center, ensuring accurate listings and data optimisation for Shopping and Performance Max.
  • Design and execute campaign structures
    that balance brand visibility, efficiency, and ROI across multiple categories.
  • Leverage automation and AI bidding
    to maximise returns while maintaining strategic oversight.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    with media, analytics, and creative teams to align strategy with business goals.
  • Analyse and report
    using GA4, SA360, and Looker Studio, turning performance data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Stay ahead of change
    — from Google algorithm updates to emerging tools, formats, and retail innovations.

Experience Required

We're looking for a search marketer who's confident with complexity and ready to grow into true ownership.

  • 2–4 years' hands-on SEM experience
    managing Google Ads accounts (agency or in-house).
  • Solid understanding of Google Merchant Center, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns.
  • Experience working with eCommerce or high-volume retail campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of SA360, GA4, and conversion tracking frameworks.
  • Comfortable analysing large data sets and making data-informed optimisation decisions.

Skills & Competencies

You combine analytical precision with creative thinking — and care about the "why" behind every click.

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Shopping, and PMax optimisation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with confidence in Excel, pivot tables, and data visualisation tools.
  • Understanding of conversion funnels, CPC economics, and incrementality testing.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain insights and recommendations clearly.
  • Proactive, organised, and naturally curious — always exploring smarter, faster ways to improve performance.
