About The Role
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Whether it's daily living assistance, emotional guidance, or community engagement, your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
You'll work across a
24/7 rotating roster
, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development
- Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support
- Support community participation and recreational activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
- Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
- Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs
What You'll Need Disability, Home & Living
- Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
What You'll Need Childrens Services
- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
- Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) click here to view more details

- Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts
What You'll Need Community, Complex Care
- 3 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs.
- Passionate about human rights and driving positive change.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and understanding of diverse experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and responding to customer needs.
- Team player, enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements.
