    About the opportunity:

    You will drive the achievement of key goals related to new home service and maintenance quality standards, delivery of exceptional customer experience and team performance. Reporting to the State Building Manager, the focus of this role is to manage the workflow for service and maintenance works within the warranty period, ensuring all post-handover activities are managed in line with the agreed contract specifications. More specifically, you will:
  • Develop strong partnerships with key business stakeholders, vendors, subcontractors/trades and team members
  • Ensure that goals are clearly communicated and teams are engaged and have the resources and tools to deliver
  • Lead group meetings and engage relevant service providers to elevate the knowledge and skills of the team
  • Conduct one on ones and weekly meetings with Brighton Cares Supervisors to provide support, coaching and mentoring
  • Ensure the Brighton cares team provide a cost effective 5-star customer service experience by maximising resources within the business
  • Ensure practical completion activities are completed in line with company policy
  • Provide weekly updates and reports to state building manager and attend regular meetings with construction managers to identify common issues and feedback
  • Ensure all QBCC matters are prioritised and resolved effectively
  • Manage After Hours Schedule between Brighton Cares Supervisors and from time-to-time cover when required About youYou will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
  • Advanced knowledge of construction and the building processes within the residential housing industry including QBCC standard and tolerances and Australian Standards
  • Valid C Class Driver's license.
  • Ideally you will have experience as a Construction Supervisor within project homes
  • The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
