About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee our solar and battery projects across Australia. This role is ideal for someone who knows the trade, understands how a solar job really runs, and can lead teams to deliver quality installations safely, on time, and with great customer service.

As we expand into new regions, you'll play a key part in onboarding and recruiting new electricians, roofers, and subcontractors, setting up local teams, and maintaining our strong company standards nationwide.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of solar and battery installations across multiple sites.
  • Schedule and coordinate teams, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Lead, support, and mentor electricians, roofers, and subcontractors to achieve quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new trades and subcontractors as we grow into new regions.
  • Maintain clear communication between sales, design, warehouse, and installation teams.
  • Ensure compliance with CEC, network, and safety requirements on every job.
  • Track project progress, timelines, and costs to keep jobs on budget and on schedule.
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues quickly, maintaining a strong customer-first approach.
  • Monitor job quality, perform inspections, and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and energy providers.
  • Promote and uphold the company's reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and excellent service.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years' experience in solar, electrical, or construction operations.
  • Solid understanding of solar PV and battery systems (residential and/or commercial).
  • Trade background (electrical or roofing) preferred.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong focus on customer service — you care about the customer experience as much as the finished job.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Comfortable working both in the office and on-site when needed.
  • Valid driver's licence and White Card required.
  • CEC accreditation or experience working with CEC installers (advantageous).
