Open Electrical is one of Brisbane's most trusted solar, battery, and EV-charger installers — a genuine local team with in-house CEC-accredited electricians, premium products, and a reputation built over a decade. We're growing fast, and we're looking for someone who can keep our install pipeline running smoothly, deliver a top-tier customer experience, and help us maintain tight control over materials and job margins.

About the Role

We're searching for a highly organised, proactive Solar & Battery Install Coordinator to join our team. This role sits at the centre of our operations — connecting customers, sales, electricians, and wholesalers to ensure every installation is scoped correctly, scheduled efficiently, and delivered with the quality Open Electrical is known for.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Communication

  • Guide customers from sale to installation with clear, friendly communication
  • Provide updates, confirm details, answer questions, and ensure they feel supported throughout
  • Help drive 5-star reviews by delivering a smooth, professional customer journey

Job Coordination & Scheduling

  • Use ServiceM8 to schedule installs, assign electricians, attach documents, and ensure job notes are complete
  • Make sure each job is properly scoped before install day (panels, batteries, inverters, switchboard checks, site notes, roof plans, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the team to resolve on-site issues early

Materials & Logistics

  • Communicate with wholesalers to order and track materials
  • Ensure materials arrive on time and match what was sold. We use a Just in Time framework. Not a lot of materials kept on hand.
  • Keep installs on target for material costs by spotting discrepancies early
  • Work with the technical director to plan future installations and ensure stock availability

Quality & Improvement

  • Ensure job packs, photos, compliance docs, and post-install tasks are completed correctly
  • Look for process improvements and assist with building a smoother, more efficient install workflow
What You Bring
  • Experience in solar, electrical admin, or job coordination (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisation and follow-through — you don't let details slide
  • Clear communicator who can manage customers and tradies with confidence
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with ServiceM8, GHL, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
  • Enjoys working in a fast-moving environment where every day is different
