The Role:

The Distribution Operator's role is responsible for providing a professional service for our customers and ensuring that the requests are actioned in a timely manner. This includes the pick, pack & dispatch of customer orders to ensure KPI's are met.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the daily shipping and receiving of goods

  • Maintain all records of parts received and dispatched.

  • Taking part in all cycle count and stock take duties.

  • Maintain Occupational Health and Safety issues within the warehouse.

  • Maintain general housekeeping of direct areas

  • Understands and is responsible for quality control standards.

  • Be able to competently co-ordinate activities of other distribution center facility employees

  • Point of escalation and resolution for work related issues

  • Complete report creation, tracking and analysis as required

  • Meet Client KPIs

EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS

  • Full working rights essential
  • Hold a valid LF Forklift License & LO Order Picker/Turret Truck Licenses
  • Mid-level Computer skills required: Outlook, WMS, Excel spread sheets, Word, Power Point
  • Minimum 2-3 Years' experience in the Logistics industry
  • Be flexible in working hours
  • Possesses an advanced level of interpersonal and communication skills (both written & oral).

  • Ability to work independently, unsupervised and be highly self-motivated.

  • Ability to work within a team environment

  • Ability to achieve quality results

  • In this role due to the nature of the operations, you will be required to work hours outside of this band
