Executive Director – Project Integration (The Wave Rail Program) Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD (with travel to Sunshine Coast)Salary: Negotiable – senior executive rateContract: Full-time, 12 months + extension options through 2032 About the Project The Wave Rail is a $5.5 billion state- and federally-funded transport corridor linking Beerwah to Caloundra as part of The Wave Program – a world-class public transport connection to support the Sunshine Coast's growth and the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is now appointing a senior integration leader to drive project alignment across multiple rail delivery packages and stakeholders. About the Role Reporting to the Project Director and serving on the Project Leadership Team, the Executive Director, Project Integration provides strategic leadership and coordination across The Wave (Rail) Program. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for integration controls, systems integration, technical integration and operational integration to ensure safe and cohesive delivery of this transformative rail project. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Integration Team to deliver a comprehensive, collaborative and best-practice integration strategy.Oversee technical, commercial and operational interfaces across multiple delivery packages.Build and sustain integrator capability and continuous improvement frameworks.Foster effective collaboration with Queensland Rail, TMR divisions, Sunshine Coast Regional Council and industry partners.Provide leadership to direct reports and mentor team members to achieve high performance and project alignment.Represent the project at governance forums and present briefings to senior stakeholders.Champion "The Wave Vibes": High Performance, Respect, Innovation, Wellbeing and Collaboration.About You You are a seasoned major projects leader with deep rail integration expertise and a track record of driving complex infrastructure outcomes.
