Institute of Management and Trade seek a experienced, motivated, enthusiastic full-time Marketing and Student Recruitment Executive to join our team.

About the position

This role will be based in our Officer campus. It will have primary focus on the International Students onshore and offshore. You will work both independently and with our team to support our central management team. Reporting to the Directors, this role is responsible for the execution of the marketing and sales campaign strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and build relationships with education agents both locally and internationally.
  • Identify new possibilities to promote the college and its courses within the global education markets.
  • Develop new and innovative marketing strategies to assist with the ongoing growth and development
  • Achievement of student enrolment monthly targets for allocated market
  • Actively recruit international students to study in our institutes
  • High-level verbal communication skills, including effective public speaking, including the ability to develop and frequently deliver presentations to a range of audiences.
  • Input to our digital marketing team for social media, creating social media content and online recruitment channels
  • Willingness to travel interstate and overseas as required
  • Assist with email Marketing (EDM) campaigns – Targeting students, agents and leads.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • A sound understanding of international student recruitment practices and well-established connections with education agents.
  • Minimum of one year experience in VET sector marketing.
  • Knowledge of ESOS Act, the National Code and Student Visa regulations
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing experience in the international education market
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience in international education agent relationship management
  • Sound understanding of the benefits of cross-cultural communication and the ability to interact with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in general administrative duties
