We are a highly motivated, experienced and innovative team and we support our people to be their best. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Childcare Community / Room Leader to join our team at Wantirna South Early Learning Centre.

This is a gem of an opportunity for a passionate and skilled early childhood educator to lead a team of educators, taking responsibility for the daily operations of a childcare room.

As the Childcare Room Leader, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-3 years, while supporting the centre's mission and values.

About the Role

• Oversee the daily operations of a childcare room - including programming, planning, and implementing engaging learning experiences
• Lead, mentor and support a team of passionate early childhood educators to deliver exceptional care and education
• Ensure all children's developmental, physical, social, and emotional needs are met
• Foster positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children's progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and policies
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager and other Room Leaders to contribute to the overall success of the centre
• Participate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your practice.

About You

We are particularly keen to consider applicants who have;

• Diploma or similar in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum 1 years' experience as a Room Leader or Senior Educator in childcare
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
• Eligibility to work in Australia and a working with children check.
