Experienced Centre Manager Assistant

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a passionate and experienced early learning professional to support our Centre Manager.

Our Manager Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring outstanding learning experiences and outcomes in a safe and secure environment through assisting families and teams in all administrative and operational support duties of the centre.

About the Role

Working closely in support of the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Day to Day Administrative Operations of the centre including stakeholder management and centre communications, audits, inventory, account management, housekeeping, filing and maintaining records.
• Provide Administrative Support to the Centre Manager in their leadership of teachers & educators including payroll and maintaining employee records, staff accruals, facilities management, leave requests and professional development.
• Build lasting and meaningful relationships with families, ensuring they feel informed and confident that their children are receiving the highest quality education and care, responding to enquiries and feedback promptly.
• Develop an exceptional culture of quality and safety, making our centre the preferred choice in our community.
• Contribute to making Wantirna South Early Learning Centre a shining example of our commitment to being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional in every aspect of our work.
• Utilise your compliance and governance skills to drive business standards and culture, supporting sustainability and re-investment into our environments, practices, teams and centre overall.
• Collaborate with professional educators and teachers through workshops and meetings to share best practice and innovate in the context of ECEC programs.

About You

We are seeking applicants who have;

• Completed a Diploma or Bachelor in Children's Services
• Prior experience working in a long day-care centre as a Teacher, Educational Leader, Room Leader or Manager Assistant
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and EYLF
• Demonstrated ability to lead
• Attention to detail and prior administration experience
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
• Eligibility to work in Australia and a Working with Children Check.
