On behalf of my clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector, I am currently looking for an experienced Project Manager who has experience in Facilities & Security Project Management and who holds a current TSPV clearance.

The role is being offered as a 2-year day rate contract role and will be based from client's site in Canberra.

Tasks Include (but may not be limited to):

  • Initiating and overseeing facilities works to be performed
  • Leading or participating in facilities working groups
  • Coordinating and participating in the security planning and accreditation activities for the mission system as part of the project
  • Contributing to and delivering key project planning documents
  • Performing project risk assessments and contributing to risk workshops
  • Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders
  • Providing oral and written briefings to project/program senior leadership, particularly to communicate and resolve project risks and issues

ESSENTIAL Experience / Skills Sought:

  • Experience in delivering and overseeing facilities works in the Defence sector.
  • Experience in physical and limited ICT security planning, management, and accreditation.
  • Experience in developing project planning documents.
  • Knowledge and experience in Defence Physical and ICT Security.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of E&IG processes would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of military communications technologies, particularly Tactical Data Links, would be beneficial.
  • TSPV clearance is MANDATORY
  • Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Canberra on a full time basis.
