About the Role

We're looking for experienced Project Managers with strong Defence background that are keen to make an impact on nationally sigificant programs of work. You'll be working across complex projects within LAND, DDG or CASG, supporting capability delivery and ensuring outcomes are achieved in line with Defence priorities.

We are working across multiple hands on positions where you'll be leading project governance, managing schedules, budgets & risks while also building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Defence. You'll play a key role in translating strategy into action, keeping projects on track and delivering results that matter.

  • NV1 Security Clearance or higher

About you

  • Proven experience in Defence projects, ideally within LAND, DDG or CASG
  • Strong knowledge of Defence procurement, capability life cycle and governance frameworks
  • Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities & high visibility
  • Ability to engage with senior Defence, APS, and industry stakeholders confidently
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills from board papers to stakeholder workshops
  • Background with Big 4 consulting, Defence primes, or CASG project delivery is highly desirable
  • Degree qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or IT
  • NV1 (or higher) clearance is essential

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager with Defence experience you'll be expected to:

  • Lead and deliver complex Defence projects ensuring outcomes are on time, on budget & within scope
  • Support major programs across LAND, DDG, or CASG applying strong governance and Defence-specific frameworks
  • Manage project schedules, risk, cost, and reporting while keeping stakeholders engaged and aligned
  • Work closely with senior Defence stakeholders, providing updates, briefings & trusted advice
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and contractors to achieve project objectives
  • Contribute to procurement, contract management, and compliance in line with Defence standards
  • Prepare high-quality project documentation including business cases, reports & executive briefs
