About the Role

We're seeking a qualified carpenter or experienced leading hand who can take ownership of full projects from start to finish.

You'll be working alongside an apprentice and managing subcontractors as needed — ensuring every job is delivered to our high standard and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day installation of decks, pergolas, and outdoor structures
  • Read and interpret plans & take ownership of site setup
  • Manage apprentice/subbie on site and coordinate with operations
  • Maintain high-quality finish and ensure clean handover
  • Represent the HS Outdoor Living brand professionally with clients

  • Qualified carpenter with 3–5+ years experience in decks/pergolas/outdoor structures
