The Role

Reporting into the Business Leadership, you will;

  • Manage, oversee and coordinate the Projects team, and work closely with other internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high level of compliance to the PMP process across the region and be heavily involved in the project reviews, project kickoffs, bid sign offs and sales handover.
  • Ensure the team operate in a safe manner and adhere to the Values of the business.

Your Challenge:

  1. Deliver A$130m+ project in a brownfield environment within 2 years
  2. Develop strong relationships with all major key stakeholders consistent with a construction project
  3. Develop a strategy and establish/adjust structures
  4. Lead all areas of the Project, in addition to Project Management, such as Engineering, Commissioning, etc

Skills and Experience Required

You are a natural leader who understands the ethos that people buy from people.
It is
essential
you bring:

  • Complex Industrial Automation project delivery (A$100m+) of Electro-Mechanical nature
  • PMP Certification

Engineering related tertiary or diploma education
- Leadership of people with a technical engineering profile
- Exceptional ability to develop and manage key stakeholder relationships from scratch
- Ability to lead operational and maintenance personnel
- Sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes including the ability to estimate cost to complete and forecast cost at completion
- Management of contractual and commercial issues such as variations
- Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management
