Purpose of the Position

GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experience Site Supervisor for site works (FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Geraldton) on a 9/5 Roster. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of mechanical repairs and coating.

Regional Western Australia

Licence Requirements

  • Trade Certificate (Boilermaker / Welder)
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Drivers Licence
  • MSIC (or willing to obtain)
  • Schedule 26

The Site Supervisor role would need to be able to excel in the following key areas:

  • Active and safe supervision of all activities for our site personnel
  • Lead regular toolbox talks, work and perform daily site activities and monitoring of all works undertaken
  • Safety focus, ensuring site personnel operate to safe systems of work
  • Assist with scheduling of employees at all stages of the works
  • Delegate and direct site activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Active problem solving and creative solutions orientation is essential
  • Delivery work safely, on time and within budget, with an expected high quality and high level of service to our clients
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver works
  • Applicants must have an open mind and willingness to work collaboratively, continually learn, develop and support GHS Continuous Improvement culture in a systems management environment

This role would suit an individual with:

  • Minimum 5 years supervision experience
  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Solid trade background
  • Experience with fabrication works and also mining activities
  • Knowledge and experience in industry standards
  • Schedule 26 training

Other abilities:

  • MEM05024 Perform Welding Supervision or equivalent will be highly regarded
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Attention to detail
  • Work in a team environment
