Are you an experienced Construction Contracts Administrator ready to take the next step in your career? Builders Steel Direct is seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in the successful delivery of large-scale retail, commercial, and residential projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key projects and contribute to BSD's continued growth and excellence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage project scopes and tender packages across retail, commercial, and residential builds.
  • Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely supply of materials and services.
  • Process project claims efficiently to support financial accuracy and cash flow.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring budgets are maintained.
  • Maintain complete and compliant project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines, budget, and quality targets.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to the Project Manager.

About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction industry.
  • Proven background in retail, residential, and commercial sectors.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation abilities.
  • Professional, punctual, and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on project goals.
