We are seeking a passionate Project Controls and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join our Glencore Technology Team in Brisbane. The Project Controls and Stakeholder Engagement Officer will provide general support to all activities undertaken by the Project Management Office (PMO). The role will primarily focus on providing a range of technical and administrative support in Project Controls, Business Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement functions that the Project Management Office (PMO) undertakes for the Glencore Technology business. You will report directly to the PMO manager.

You will be responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining databases of various PMO systems
  • Managing the document flow and distribution of Requests for Information (RFI) as required
  • Creating Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) to ensure consistency across projects or company activities
  • Providing guidance and support to the GT business.
  • Managing and analysing of project data
  • Engaging new stakeholders as well as managing the onboarding process of new stakeholders in accordance with GT's governances guidelines.
  • Maintenance of the approved stakeholders list and associated registers

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the Project Support Role (Project Administration and Document Control).
  • Experience in Project Controls (Cost and Schedule controls)
  • MS Excel Intermediate to Advanced level Capabilities
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with colleagues, clients and stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Great at organizing and prioritizing
  • An interest in using different systems.
  • Experience in a similar project environment.
