About the role

Lamezleighs Cafe' in Mirboo North, VIC is looking for an experienced Chef or Kitchen Hand to join our talented team. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant cafe environment and contribute to the creation of delicious, high-quality dishes.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of meals and menu items to the highest standards
  • Ensuring all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with menu planning and development to keep our offerings fresh and innovative
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Supporting the front-of-house team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a chef or kitchen hand in a busy cafe or restaurant environment
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
