Scorpion Business Services is based in the Launceston CBD and offers NDIS Plan Management services to participants across Australia. We are a family business that prides ourselves on our accuracy and efficiency.

About the role

We are looking for someone to join our team to ensure that the needs of our NDIS plan management clients are met. We are looking for someone who is motivated, mature, reliable and adaptable. You will be reporting to the management team and the Directors. This is an entry-level, permanent full-time office-based Monday to Friday position. Duties include:

  • Data entry
  • Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Electronic filing
  • Maintaining database records
  • Assisting clients to understand their NDIS plan and current funding levels
  • Assist in transition between old and new NDIS plans
  • Liaising with service providers to resolve invoice discrepancies

About you

  • Tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel and Outlook) (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail (essential)
  • Background in bookkeeping or an accounts-related role (preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience of NDIS line items and funding categories (preferred)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Positive attitude and team player
