Transform lives, every single day

Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.

We're a well-respected not-for-profit that has been serving society's most vulnerable for more than 160 years. Each year, we achieve life-changing outcomes for over 40,000 people who rely on our person-centred support. And now, we're extending our reach and impact even further.

As a Customer Engagement Officer, you'll play a pivotal role as the first point of contact for prospective clients and their families. You'll showcase Anglicare's unique approach, build trust, and guide people through the aged care process – from first enquiry to consultation – ensuring a seamless and supportive customer experience.

Your opportunity

This is a client-focused role where you'll combine relationship-building, sales intake, and lead management to connect people with the care they need.

With care and professionalism, you will:

  • Establish trust with prospective clients and their representatives

  • Provide clear advice and guidance on aged care services, including My Aged Care processes

  • Showcase Anglicare's point of difference, tailoring recommendations to client needs

  • Manage referrals and leads via ARK, provider portals, and other channels

  • Support clients through the transition from CHSP to HCP & Support at Home Program.

  • Ensure the client journey from intake to consultation is seamless, empathetic and professional

  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external health professionals

What you'll bring

You're compassionate, customer-focused, and thrive in a role where you can guide people through important life decisions.

You will need:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Community Services (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in aged care or community services

  • Knowledge of government-subsidised aged care services

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to build trust, showcase services, and manage expectations

  • A commitment to Anglicare's vision, mission and values

Why Anglicare?

At Anglicare, you'll get the security, stability, and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that's ready for the future. You'll belong to a community of kind, humble, and respectful people of all faiths and backgrounds – and be supported to deepen your knowledge, grow your expertise, and shape a rewarding career.

Some of the benefits you'll enjoy include:

  • Salary packaging – increase your take-home pay by paying less tax

  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities

  • Fitness Passport – discounted gym membership for you and your family

  • Treehouse rewards program – retail, accommodation, and entertainment discounts

  • Employee Assistance Program for confidential counselling and wellbeing support
