Powertx Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced and responsible Projects Site Supervisor to join us on a full-time basis, with experience in high voltage construction and large projects.

Have a proven & demonstrable history of leading work crews.

Report directly to the Project Manager

Minimum Duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and client company HSEQ policies
  • Liaise with the Project Manager & Project team to effectively deliver works packages safely, efficiently and in accordance with the project requirements.
  • Have a sound knowledge of Australian Standards and codes of practices.
  • Take instructions from the Project Manager to organise and lead work teams
  • Understand the projects requirements and schedule & assist on the procurement to ensure that the project aligns with the schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal & interface communication skills
  • Have Intermediate PC skills with experience in Excel, Word, Project & Outlook.
  • Previous project leadership roles would be an added advantage.
  • Coordinate equipment, resources, and documentation for site operations
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to achieve outcomes on time & within budget
  • Attend and facilitate safety & progress meetings with clients and contractors
  • Prepare and present progress reports to clients and managers as required
  • Plan, monitor, and implement site works in accordance with schedules
  • Arrange transportation and cranes for plant and equipment delivery
  • Provide clear instructions including drawings & specifications to the workers & contractors
  • Coordinate the site employee rostering, accommodation, travel & time sheets to the admin team

Experience & qualifications:

  • QLD Electrical license (Mandatory)
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in similar position
  • Must have extensive experience in high voltage construction projects
  • Current Queensland driver's license & (HR license Desirable)
  • All mining certifications (S1, S2, S3, G2, Standard 11) are required to apply
  • Possess or have the ability to pass Coal Board Medical
  • Must currently hold EWP High Risk Licence
  • LVR/CPR and First aid certifications
  • Experience in the resource scheduling & reporting processes.
  • Experience with project controls & documentation process
  • Experience in procurement & cost forecast
  • Ability to implement & manage HSEQ processes
  • Cert IV in Civil Supervision would be an advantage
  • Working at Heights & Confined Spaces certifications are required to apply
