We have an exciting opportunity for a Inwards team member to join our food manufacturing facility based in Karawatha (vicinity of Browns Plains). Inwards Team member primary responsibility is the accurate selection and preparation of warehouse items for both shipment and production. Key duties include locating and retrieving products based on order specifications, performing physical inventory counts to ensure record accuracy, and resolving any stock discrepancies. This role requires strict adherence to all safety and quality standards to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.

The positions we have are:

  • Tuesday to Saturday AM & PM - 5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm
  • Sunday to Thursday AM & PM - 5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm

You will...

  • Accurately rotate stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to minimise waste and maintain traceability.
  • Complete stocktake and stock counts to support inventory accuracy and production planning.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene of the warehouse in line with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Assist production by delivering required stock to either Low Risk Production or High Risk Production.
  • Safely operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as trained and licensed, ensuring compliance with site safety protocols.
  • Receipt incoming goods as required, using Youfoodz systems and processes to verify deliveries and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Accurately pick, pack, invoice, and prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct documentation and traceability.
  • Adhere to food safety standards (e.g. HACCP) at all times, including during handling, storage, and dispatch.
  • Escalate any stock discrepancies, product quality concerns, or operational issues to a Supervisor, Team Leader, or other appropriate person in a timely manner.

You have/are...

  • Minimum if 3 months experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast paced production setting
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety standards, including BRCGS, HACCP, and Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) principles
  • Experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
  • Broader experience across different areas of food manufacturing (e.g., packing, processing, warehousing)
