Youfoodz - Experienced Team Leader, Pick Packer

We are looking for passionate person to join our team on a Casual basis as a Team Leader. This role is critical in delivering high quality, chef prepared, fresh meals to our expanding customer base. **Let's get down to the nitty gritty essentials - we're looking for individuals who have the following attributes/skills**: **CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES** - Oversee and lead a team of pickers and packers. - Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members. - Provide training and ensure team is trained to maintain standards. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and encourage growth within the team. - Monitor progress and provide regular feedback for set performance expectations. - Autonomous role, working in a team environment. - Ensure timely and accurate picking and packing of customer orders in line with DIFOT requirements. - Continuously evaluate existing procedures and process to recommend and support enhancements. - Support best practices to optimise order accuracy and reduce order processing time. - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper handling, storage and packaging of food products. - Enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries. - Address any potential hazards promptly. - Maintain effective communication channels with team members and shopping management. - Collaborate with Supervisors, Managers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve process. - Support break rotations and allocation of tasking. - Other reasonable duties as directed. **ROLE REQUIREMENTS, Qualifications** Essential: - Work experience in logistics, Warehouse or manufacturing time sensitive environment role - Knowledge of logistics and warehouse management - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Good communication skills - Problem solving & investigation skills - Inventory control experience. - RF scanning. Essential: - A natural curiosity and a “big picture” mentality - Good spoken and written communication - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, with people of all levels - Experience running teams in a time sensitive environment - Time management skills - Working knowledge of processing machinery Desirable - People management skills, conflict resolution Skills and Attributes - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Has analytical and problem-solving ability - Ability to partner with stakeholders internal and external - High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic - Approachable, energetic and flexible in approach - Problem solving, ability to identify a solution and then rectify root cause. - Safety focus, strong hazard and incident management approach. - Special Requirements - Due to changing operational demands and seasonal peaks there may be a need to work outside of standard operating hours when necessary, which may include work on weekends and public holidays.
