About the role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic End User Support Engineer to join our Information Technology team at EastLink. This role provides technical support across all departments, ensuring smooth operation of ICT systems and telephony infrastructure.

In this role, you will (but not limited to)

  • Troubleshoot desktop and application issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support telephony systems (including IVR), working with third-party vendors.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure desktop builds meet standards.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for updates, patches, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Adhere to ITIL and Change Management processes.
  • Assist with user account administration and disaster recovery planning.

The ideal candidate with have:

  • A tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience months).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with call centre telephony systems and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems; ITIL knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • A willingness to grow and learn in a dynamic environment.
