Diploma Qualified Educator

• Part-time, ongoing role, 30 hours per fortnight commencing January 2026
• Work with children to explore and discover the world around them
• Support an inclusive environment that nurtures children of all backgrounds and abilities

We are looking for a Diploma qualified educator to join us at our kindergarten. Our service aims to nurture children to explore, discover and learn through hands-on activities guided by our experienced educators.

This role is for 30 hours per fortnight, with workdays being Mondays and Wednesday from 8am to 4pm. This role commences in Term

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will be an active team member of a team that provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes:

• Developing strong relationships with children at the service
• Assist with the implementation of a play-based learning environment responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interests of children
• Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families, and the community
• Complying with the Uniting Early Learning policies and procedures
• Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in the service's operations.

You will bring with you:

• A Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority).
• Current First Aid in an Education & Care Setting and CPR certificates.
• Prior experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
