The Company

Going Up is one of the largest independent, Australian-owned elevator companies — manufacturing, installing, servicing and modernising lifts across the east coast of Australia.

We take pride in being a close-knit, professional team with a strong reputation for quality work and customer care. We're now looking for Elevator Service Technicians to join our Sydney team.

Our service area covers Sydney, with our office based in Brookvale, NSW.

The Role

As an Elevator Service Technician, you'll keep elevators running safely and smoothly — performing maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and carrying out repairs and modernisations. It's a technically challenging and rewarding role with long-term career prospects in a specialised trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on elevator and lift systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Support lift installation and modernisation projects when required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the service team.
  • Maintain safety compliance and accurate service records.

About You

  • Qualified Electrician, Fitter, or Mechanic, or experienced in a related trade.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with sound fault-finding skills.
  • Previous lift / elevator industry experience highly regarded but not essential.
  • Able to work independently, manage time and communicate clearly.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
