About you

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to be based in our Sydney CBD office. This permanent role reports to the FP&A Manager.

You will play a key role in the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, supporting accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities are

1) Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with business units.

• Prepare periodic forecasts to reflect updated expectations.

• Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets.

2) Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare management reports - Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly results including variance analysis versus plan and forecast risks and opportunities

• Provide insights into business performance, trends and key financial metrics.

3) Business Partnering

• Help departments understand their cost structures and financial performance.

• Work with key stakeholders to determine key performance indicators, business metrics and monitor progress towards goals.​

What You Will Need to be Successful

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI (desktop and mobile) for data analysis and trend identification

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven approach
