The Opportunity

Join our team at Medibank as a Support Analyst, a pivotal role within our Amplar Health Technology and Digital team. You'll be responsible for maintaining the health of critical applications in our health portfolio, providing 24/7 on-call support as per the team roster, and ensuring robust processes are in place to guarantee service availability.
In this role, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Analyse and resolve vulnerabilities, incidents and problems across production and non-production environments.
 - Provide expert support for Amplar's Health applications, ensuring service availability and rapid incident resolution.
 - Collaborate with respective IT teams to manage Amplar Health patching and vulnerability from threat management
 - Collaborate with third-party vendors to coordinate incident resolution and system enhancements.
 - Partner with business stakeholders to identify and address system performance issues, delivering effective solutions that support continuity and growth.
 - Lead application deployments, patching cycles and disaster recovery planning.
 - Use Agile and DevOps practices to manage BAU delivery and support.

What You'll Bring
Must-Have Experience:
- 3+ years resolving technical issues in multi-domain environments (Windows, Azure Virtual Desktop, web apps).
 - Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, Java, .NET, IIS, Apache Tomcat).
 - Familiarity with relational databases, DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence), and ITSM platforms (ServiceNOW).
 - Experience supporting customer-facing apps like Microsoft Dynamics.
 - Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
 
Desirable:
- Health industry experience.
 - Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell).
 - Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
 - ITIL Certification.
