Business Analyst is currently required for a 2 years fixed term assignment focusing on finance and payroll systems to work on a large IT transformation program.

In this key role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, playing a crucial part in analyzing business requirements, optimizing financial and payroll processes, and ensuring system configurations align with our organizational needs. • Plan and coordinate testing efforts, including user acceptance testing, to validate that implemented solutions effectively address business needs.
  • Contribute to the data migration strategy from legacy systems to the new ERP.
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct one-on-one interviews, process mapping, and utilize other methods, including developing User Stories, often working in Agile sprint cycles.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Finance and Payroll processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Liaise with vendors and delivery teams to ensure alignment between technical and functional specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure systems align with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Assist with the planning and design of the project/solution.
  • Develop comprehensive business process documentation.

  • Identify potential project risks and issues and work collaboratively to develop and execute mitigation plans.

To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced Business Analyst with end-to-end SDLC implementation, ideally with a finance ERP or Payroll HCM focus. You will also have strong domain knowledge of finance and payroll functions, and have experience with cloud-based ERP and HCM products and modern ways of working.
