Business Analyst is currently required for a 2 years fixed term assignment focusing on finance and payroll systems to work on a large IT transformation program.

In this key role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, playing a crucial part in analyzing business requirements, optimizing financial and payroll processes, and ensuring system configurations align with our organizational needs. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to drive system and process enhancements and ensure compliance with financial and payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Provide functional expertise in the Finance & Payroll toolset being implemented.
  • Support the implementation partner in configuring Finance ERP and Payroll HCM modules according to business requirements.
  • Perform solution testing to validate that the solution is built as per requirements and agreed design.
  • Support the training team in delivering to end-users and provide ongoing support to resolve issues.
  • Plan and coordinate testing efforts, including user acceptance testing, to validate that implemented solutions effectively address business needs.
  • Contribute to the data migration strategy from legacy systems to the new ERP.
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct one-on-one interviews, process mapping, and utilize other methods, including developing User Stories, often working in Agile sprint cycles.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Finance and Payroll processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Liaise with vendors and delivery teams to ensure alignment between technical and functional specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure systems align with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Assist with the planning and design of the project/solution.
  • Develop comprehensive business process documentation.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and work collaboratively to develop and execute mitigation plans.

To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced Business Analyst with end-to-end SDLC implementation, ideally with a finance ERP or Payroll HCM focus. You will also have strong domain knowledge of finance and payroll functions, and have experience with cloud-based ERP and HCM products and modern ways of working. Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills are a must
