This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant (Projects) to join a leading organisation in the property industry. Based in Melbourne CBD (right near Flinders Street Station), this role will focus on delivering accurate financial management for various projects.

Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Prepare and submit financial documents for loan applications, drawdowns, and banking compliance
  • Maintain accurate registers of project securities including bank guarantees and bonds
  • Coordinate property valuation schedules, liaise with external valuers, and manage related reporting and invoicing
  • Administer tenant deposits, generate recoverable work invoices, and support audits and reconciliations
  • Upload actuals, assist with reforecasting, variance analysis, and ensure timely financial reporting
  • Process acquisition journals, lease entries, tenant invoicing, and manage aging reports
  • Enhance workflow efficiency, document procedures, and foster strong internal and external partnerships
  • Stay current with accounting standards and ensure all outputs meet regulatory and professional benchmarks

Profile

A successful Accountant (Projects) should have:

  • CA / CPA or working towards
  • Big 4 / Mid Tier background
  • Experience working with project reporting systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong excel skills
