The Role

NGPF are growing and on the hunt for an energetic, motivated and driven
Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor
to join the team.

In this newly created leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of workplace health, safety, wellbeing and return to work planning as well as role modelling the NGPF Values and behavioural standards, ensuring a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace where every team member can thrive.

This will require you to partner with leaders, employees and external providers as well as leverage the skills and experience of the EBOS Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, to foster a positive safety culture, strengthen resilience, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. As such, your ability to build relationships and work with a diverse workforce, coupled with your excellent communication, planning and organisational skills will be essential to success.

This is an evolving role that will be perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career, coupled with a desire to continue to develop and grow their WHS skills, making an impact WHS at NGPF.

Monthly travel to Caloundra sites will be required including overnight stay.

What you will do:

  • Compliance;
  • Risk Management;
  • WHS Training and Development;
  • Consultation & Communication;
  • Accident Investigation;
  • Monitoring and Reporting;
  • Injury Management, Workers Compensation & RTW.

What we are looking for
:

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS as well as experience working in a WHS role within a food manufacturing environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in Injury Management, Workers Compensation legislation and legal requirements;
  • Strong working knowledge of incident investigation principles and experience with investigating incidents;
  • Experience inducting, mentoring and coaching employees including contractors;
  • Experience performing risk assessment and hazard management;
  • High-level report writing capabilities;
  • Beginner to intermediate level experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
