Roobuck is a leading Australian provider of mining IoT solutions, intrinsically safe lighting equipment and digital mine technologies. We specialise in developing cutting-edge wireless solutions for underground and open-cut mining operations, with a focus on improving miner safety and operational productivity.

Duties:

· Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the mining and resources sector.

· Demonstrate resilience and self-motivation with a proven ability to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

· Work with engineering teams to turn customer needs into technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions that address operational challenges.

· Monitor system performance and share feedback with the team for continuous improvement initiatives.

· Bring a solid technical, systems, or engineering background with the ability to quickly understand technical considerations; prior expertise in firmware is preferred but not required, as training and support will be provided.

· Possess any technical background with demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and systems.

· Opportunity to contribute to R&D projects in areas aligned with your interests

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in presales, business development, or technical sales in mining or industrial technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with mining safety technologies, communications systems, or IoT solutions preferred but not essential.
