Due to organic growth and expansions, we are seeking a dedicated Facilities Handyman Supervisor who will lead our team in delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services across our clients' facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on expertise in various trades, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Facilities Handyman Supervisor performs diverse maintenance, repair, and installation tasks, requiring advanced skills in areas like carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Key responsibilities include assessing the site's building and surrounding issues, providing expert technical advice, managing multiple jobs, completing handyman projects efficiently and safely, and maintaining client satisfaction.

Leading a small team of handyman trades and technicians, as a supervisor, you will coordinate projects, manage a skilled team, and foster a collaborative atmosphere, all while ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Requirements include a comprehensive toolset, physical fitness for demanding work, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in a variety of trades.

Basic to moderate Computer skills

Facilities Management background/knowledge

Able to sit, stand, kneel, lift, and climb ladders

3-5 years of experience as a handyman

An exceptional eye for detail.

Basic to moderate plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge

Advance carpentry, including finding studs, building bookshelves, and installing cabinets, experience

Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

SWMS Writing and Qualifications

Basic experience utilising CMMS maintenance work order management
