About the role
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the building and services in relation to Collins Square are presented to an exceptionally high standard, and operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner that meets the needs of the people who work at, and visit the buildings.
This role is also responsible for identifying and driving service and product improvements for Collins Square to enhance the customer experience and improve tenant attraction and retention. The Facilities Supervisor works closely with Facilities Management, Property Management, Marketing, Concierge, and a team of contractors, to ensure exceptional service levels to the various occupants and owner of Collins Square.
- Ensure issues are actioned efficiently and closed out effectively, seeking feedback from those affected
- Actively manage the various portal services associated with service providers under management and follow up with the respective teams on outstanding requests
- Assist with the management of contractors to deliver preventative and ad-hoc maintenance within the security and operational parameters of Collins Square
- Identify and implement continual improvement initiatives, ensuring continual improvement to service delivery outcomes
- Be actively involved in promoting a culture that ensures environmental and safety risks are identified, assessed and resolved
- Manage contractor inductions and statutory requirements for occupational health and safety
- Ensure all environmental and safety risks are identified, logged, assessed and resolved
- Ensure all publicly accessible areas present in a manner expected of a premium grade development at all times, and escalate any areas for resolution as required
- Work with service providers and internal staff to ensure appropriate uniforms/branding are provided and worn by all frontline staff
- Ensure that all precinct documentation and systems are up to date and communicate or issue updated collateral as appropriate
- Work with the Engineering Manager to proactively research and promote new ESD initiatives
- Liaise with department heads and support the operations, property management and marketing teams through attending meetings and working collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes for assets
- Other duties as required from time to time as directed
About you
- At least 3 year experience in a similar role
- An understanding of Property Management and Facilities Management and an ability to communicate technical information in a form that is easily understandable
- Must be adaptable, buoyant and flexible, possessing an energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Self-confident, with professional personal grooming standards and well developed communication skills (both oral and written)
- Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times to be able to deal effectively with a wide range of people with varying needs and desires
- Demonstrated high level conceptual thinking, creativity and analytical skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Proven ability to develop effective and trusting business partnerships
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and other property related IT systems
- Previous use of Yardi Property Management Software is preferable
