One of our Federal Government clients, located in the heart of Adelaide's CBD, is in the process of establishing a dedicated Learning and Capability Team. This initiative reflects their strategic commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and organisational capability uplift.

The new team will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering learning programs, supporting workforce development, and aligning capability initiatives with broader government priorities.

The first newly created role to hit the market is for a Senior Advisor, Capability and Development. This role works within the WHS, Wellbeing, Development & Capability team of the People Branch to deliver a range of Learning and Development workplace services.

As part of the newly established Learning and Capability Team, you will play a key role in driving workforce development and organisational performance.

Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively to achieve positive learning outcomes and providing consistent, accurate, and timely advice within your area of expertise. You will design and implement learning and development solutions that align with strategic goals and assess their effectiveness using appropriate learning metrics that target business performance.

In this role, you will partner with subject-matter experts and external stakeholders to deliver a range of corporate, leadership, and specialised learning programs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external bodies are key requirements to fulfil this role. You will also manage the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS), including reporting requirements, and oversee contracts and procurement activities related to learning initiatives.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate excellent written skills and well-developed technical L & D knowledge and experience in this relevant discipline. A high level of discretion and integrity are expected as you will often be required to work with sensitive and confidential materials. Please note you must be an Australian Citizen.
