We are seeking an experienced Engagement and Communications Advisor to lead and deliver strategic communication and engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in enhancing learning journeys, stakeholder relationships, and the visibility of professional development programs across South Australia.
Role Overview
As the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Advisor, you will design, coordinate, and evaluate communications and engagement strategies that support professional learning and leadership development initiatives. You will ensure that communication campaigns, stakeholder engagement activities, and participant experiences are strategic, effective, and continually improved through data-driven insights.
About the Person
You are a highly skilled communicator with strong stakeholder engagement experience and the ability to manage complex communications projects. You thrive in collaborative environments, can manage competing priorities under tight deadlines, and have the confidence to advise senior stakeholders on best practices. Your ability to transform complex information into meaningful messages ensures clarity and impact across diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic stakeholder engagement and alumni management plans.
- Lead communication campaign strategies across a range of digital and traditional mediums.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of communications, marketing, and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee enrolment strategies and online promotion of professional learning programs.
- Provide expert communications advice and manage risks and issues.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Support continuous improvement through data analysis, feedback, and reporting.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication and engagement activities.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and deliver outcomes under pressure.
- Experience delivering integrated communications campaigns across multiple channels.
- Knowledge of marketing and communications theory, tools, and practices.
- Experience with learner management systems and online content management systems.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated understanding of equal opportunity, work health and safety, and inclusive workplace practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related discipline (desirable).
