Paeds in a Pod is a well-established Paediatric practice. Our team consists of Paediatric Specialists, Allied Health Professionals and admin/reception staff.

At Paeds in a pod, we believe patients should be healthy, happy and heard. We strive to provide exceptional paediatric care together with exception allied heath services to the children and families of our community. We have assembled a friendly team of like-minded individuals and have a full-time position available to join our medical admin team who will provide support to specialist Paediatricians and allied Health Professionals. Our rooms are purpose-built with modern equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Administrator/Receptionist, preferably with Genie and Private health fund billing experience, to join our expanding team. Please note, this position will not be suitable for a Uni student.

This is a full time position located at our Woolloongabba rooms. You be part of a team who have a friendly disposition and work closely as colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Patient Co-ordination (consultation/surgery bookings and scheduling)
  • Reception duties
  • Liaison with doctors, allied health professionals and third party support services
  • Recording notes, writing quotes, discussing fees
  • Data entry and reports management via Genie medical software
  • Private Health Fund billing
  • Attend to rooms opening up and closing procedures
  • Banking as required
