Jindabyne / Perisher Valley base | Seasonal – Winter Focused | $40–$60/hr (based on qualifications)

Australian Rural Medical Services Pty Ltd (AusRMS) is expanding After successfully operating the Perisher Valley Medical Centre in NSW, we now provide seasonal medical services at Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek in Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator (preferably with a Nursing Qualification) to join our alpine-focused health service. This is a unique opportunity for a highly capable individual to be part of a dynamic and growing rural medical organisation that delivers both general practice and alpine trauma care, including remote radiology and pharmacy supply services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate day-to-day operations across alpine medical centres

· Manage and support clinical teams and seasonal onboarding

· Administer bookings, billing, and reporting using:
- Best Practice software
- HotDoc
- AdvaPACS

· Navigate government regulatory requirements including:
- Medicare, PRODA, HPOS
- Licensing and accreditation processes

· Maintain equipment compliance, HR documentation, and operational readiness

· Support off-season planning and year-round logistics

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

· Background in medical administration (nursing qualification desirable)

· Proficiency with Best Practice, HotDoc, AdvaPACS

· Solid knowledge of Medicare billing and compliance

· Experience with PRODA, HPOS, and practice accreditation standards

· Excellent HR and computer skills

· Capability to thrive in a fast-paced seasonal medical environment

Timing & Remuneration:


• Primary operations run during the winter season

• Preparation and planning work required year-round

• Pay range: $40–$60 per hour, based on skills and qualifications

• Based in Jindabyne/Perisher Valley, with travel to Victorian alpine centres as needed
