**Join Our Team at EdenCare Support Services**

At EdenCare Support Services, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities. We’re currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and energetic Support Workers to provide specialized care for **non-verbal autism** (level 3) clients.

**Purpose of Role**:
To provide high-quality support services that help our clients build routines, improve life skills, and engage with their community. The role focuses on assisting non-verbal autism clients, helping them thrive in daily life activities through personal care and routine support.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Support community access and capacity-building activities tailored to the client's needs
- Assist with personal care, such as toileting and meal feeding (if required)
- Facilitate communication between family members and service providers
- Assist with light cleaning and administrative tasks
- Provide medication support (if required and appropriately qualified)

**Availability Required**:

- **Saturday, 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM**:

- Additional weekday availability is favorable

**Qualifications**:

- Qualification in Individual Support/Disability Support
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Eligibility to work in Australia

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certificate III/IV in Disability or Mental Health
- Experience with non-verbal autism and personal care

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust to different audiences
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to complete administrative duties efficiently
- Patience and empathy in dealing with complex behaviors

**Personal Attributes**:

- Passion for assisting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to remain professional under pressure
- Positive attitude towards feedback and change
