The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Leading hand who wants to test his ability to work in with an experienced site manager and run a refurbishment project for leading commercial builder. The role will suit someone who is looking to transition from a leading hand to a junior foreman role and grow their career.

Job Role

  • Starting with defit of a rebel sports then straight into fit out
  • Supervising trades and ensuring safety on site.
  • You will assist our site manager to start at around 12pm to 8pm, with potential overtime.
  • Some small labouring aspects will be assisting with delivery's and unloads, more around the coordination and moving stuff about with a pump truck, liaising with site manager.
  • Keeping OHS system up to date, and ensuring that site is safe and people are inducted on site.

Successful Applicants Will Need

  • Construction induction card (White card)
  • A proven background in commercial construction projects
  • Team leadership and management skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
  • The ability to follow systems, processes and guidelines
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • First Aid Licence
  • Understanding OHS systems such as 1breadcrumb
