About the role — hands-on leadership

We're after a hands-on Lead Signwriter who still loves being on the tools. You'll lead a small install team, help plan and deliver jobs, and jump in to fabricate, finish and install signage. It's a real mix of signmaking, site work and practical leadership — busy, rewarding and social.

What we're looking for

• Practical signmaking and installation experience (you know your way around signs and installs).
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
• A calm problem-solver with a good eye for detail.
• Able to work on your own or lead a small team.
• Great with customers — friendly, clear communicator.
• Physically able to lift and do site work.

Must have

• Signwriting trade qualification

The day-to-day (a few things you'll do)

• Fabricate corflute/ACM signage, cut stickers, laminate and pack jobs.
• Install and maintain indoor/outdoor signage, vehicle graphics and digital signs — prepare surfaces and protect client property.
• Operate and look after production kit (wide-format printers, vinyl cutters/plotters, laminators — CNC/router experience is a bonus).
• Mentor a small team, help plan jobs and keep things running on time.
• Help with materials lists, basic estimating and keeping the workshop tidy and safe.
