The Opportunity
Infinitev is setting the pace and creating a circular economy for hybrid and electric vehicle batteries on a global scale - always looking for ways to reuse, repurpose, and recycle.
Hands on, the Battery Technician (EV) be the primary support in delivering technical support and service to customers by maintaining and troubleshooting EV batteries at site (customers).
With safety at the forefront, you will analyse the high voltage, low voltage, cooling, and mechanical systems within a high voltage battery, developing effective and safe manufacturing, repair and end of life processes that underpin the functional and safety requirements of each system.
Curious and committed to learning, you will take quick ownership, playing a key role in improving battery diagnostics and continual development of standard operating procedures/processes for high voltage EV batteries.
The business is still evolving, so your inquisitive nature coupled with your ability to own a process from start to finish will see you establish a pathway in our growing organisation.
Please note that this role will require travel to customer sites (local/interstate) as required
About You
A self-starter, who values integrity and respect, and likes to have a laugh whilst seeing the direct impact of your work.
Ideally, you will also have;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace
- Trade qualifications (Electrician) or Engineering in related field
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong practical understanding of high and automotive low voltage electrical systems functions and safety
- Strong technical, practical and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical and software domains
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
- Working experience with wiring systems and reading & interpreting technical wiring schematics
- Practical experience using diagnostic equipment to record and analyse data to determine faults and write up a detailed summary.
- Current & Valid Drivers License
- Sense of humour and willingness to be a contributing and collaborative team member
