The Business Design Advisor will provide expert advice, consultation, and thought leadership on business initiatives that make a real difference to customer and employee experiences and improve business efficiency. The role engages directly with the business on their most important and challenging business issues - understanding, addressing, and solving their priority operational pain points.

What you'll do:

  • Utilise design thinking, process redesign/reengineering, digital and data analytics, and management operating systems to enhance business processes
  • Lead business improvement initiatives and participate in the redesign of processes and systems to improve workflow and performance across the Commercial Claims business
  • Partner with various stakeholder groups to bring new ideas, motivation, and positive support to all levels of the team
  • Collaborate with counterparts to organise, design, and conduct process optimisation activities to improve business efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with the Commercial Claims business and Tribe in diagnostics, planning, future state design, and implementation planning on key initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma certification or equivalent – Desired
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement experience with practical knowledge of various tools and techniques to support stakeholders and effectively influence at all levels to achieve the right outcomes
  • Possess strong Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills that can translate operational improvements into financial impact, customer and people impact
  • Experience leading workstreams in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proven experience in process-led strategic business transformation.
