Responsibilities- Lead Virgin Australia's Government, Corporate, and Sporting partner portfolio strategy to drive sustainable growth and market share.
- Shape and execute go-to-market activity, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and strong delivery across the indirect corporate segment.
- Build and maintain high-value partnerships, leading complex negotiations and executive-level engagement to maximise long-term value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Revenue Management, Customer, GCC, IOC) to optimise partner outcomes and member experiences.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and market insights to support executive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide clear, inspiring leadership to a geographically dispersed team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement in portfolio performance, ensuring efficiency, strong governance, and alignment with Virgin Australia's strategy.
- Champion a culture of safety, security, and resilience by adhering to compliance requirements and embedding safe work practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in sales leadership and B2B business development.
- Proven success in developing detailed business plans that deliver positive ROI.
- Resilient, with the ability to challenge and influence while maintaining a focus on sustainable business growth.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and proven ability to engage at senior executive levels within corporate partners.
- Extensive network of corporate and travel industry contacts, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships at an executive level.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and acquisition tender processes for new business.
- Deep understanding of the Australian corporate travel (B2B) market.
