Lead Educator Required

Holland Park Child Care Centre is a well-established 62 place Centre, that has been a part of the community for many years. We pride ourselves on quality care and place a strong emphasis on creating a warm, home like environments for our families and children with a commitment to quality early childhood education.

The Role

We are searching for a Full time / Permanent part time Lead Educator, to care for and support the little citizens within our Centre. Applicants should foster secure attachments through responsive care giving to build children's confidence through play. The applicant will be responsible for leading the curriculum and designing age appropriate experiences and learning opportunities for our children. The position would be best suited to someone available 37.5 hours per week.

We have a team of qualified, dedicated educators who are committed and passionate about delivering the highest possible care and education to our children and their families.  As a team, we work together to follow the Early Years Learning Framework to guide our professional practice. Many of our team members are long standing Educators who have been with the service for many years. We have a strong team culture and value the voice of our educators.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Diploma Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, Children's Services Regulations & Laws
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members
  • Believe in positive team spirit and embrace working in a diverse team
  • Passion and genuine interest in child development
