Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Collingwood Park is seeking Diploma Lead Educators (or WT Diploma) to join our passionate team

The successful candidates will be actively engaged in educating and caring for children under 5 years of age and effectively communicating with children, co-workers and families. We are seeking educators with a strong passion for the Early Childhood Industry.

About your new role

  • Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assisting to lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families, children and the wider community to implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of the children
  • You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • You will work at all times in compliance with Government Regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet high quality standards
  • You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
  • You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
  • You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests that include a clear cycle of reflective practice

A little about you

  • Diploma or higher qualification in children services as approved by ACECQA
  • Current Blue card, approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
  • Experience in an early childhood setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Prior experience and confidence with leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers
  • Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
  • Ability to observe and record children's learning and contribute to their educational portfolios
