Job Description

We are currently seeking a Resourcing Coordinator to join our People team, based in our national head office in Fortitude Valley. This role is available on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2025.

Reporting to the Resourcing Manager, the key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Support the Resourcing team by writing and posting job advertisements, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews for selected roles.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening processes including reference checks, document collection, police checks, and medical checks.
  • Draft contracts, position descriptions and associated documents.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring the completion and filing of necessary documentation and communications.
  • Ensure the recruitment database is maintained to reflect current recruitment and candidate activity.
  • Coordinate and represent BESIX Watpac at careers, university and associated industry events.
Qualifications

The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience providing recruitment support.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships with a particularly strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level administrative and organisational skills.
